About me: My name is Raven, I am a graphic artist/photographer/webmaster. I have been been fairly MIA from my street team page. I am working on finding an avenue to be more diligent in keeping it more up to date. There really are NOT enough hours in my day. Sleep is seemingly more of a luxury than mandatory downtime recently.
Anyway...I am a proud mother of two wonderful sons ages 5 & 7 and a wife of a great and considerate husband that treats me like a princess.
I look forward to getting to know you all and helping you in any way that I can!

ABOUT THE BAND...
Your Favorite Enemies began 8 years ago when singer Alex Foster and guitar player Sef Lemelin formed the folk rock band The Riddlers. Joined by bass player Ben Lemelin and singer Isabel Paradis, The Riddlers signed a production deal with an American company based in Nashville, toured as much in Canada as in the United States and launched 2 independent albums. After a little more than five years, as difficult as the decision was to make considering all the work done to establish The Riddlers on the American folk scene, the members of the group decided to turn the page and call it quit in Spring of 2003.
After several months of rest, writing and studio work, the band previously known as The Riddlers came back with guitar player Jeff Beaulieu in the beginning of 2004 under the moniker In This Life, an alternative rock band, and launched the Quiet Day for Sunshine Breathers album.
2004 began with force for In This Life. While the members of the group were working on new material, the band has been invited to showcase at the prestigious Canadian Music Week and refused a record deal with an American Indie label. Meanwhile, Alex Foster's relentless campaigns against a well organized white supremacist organization distributing free copies of racist artists in North-American high schools put In This Life in every major Canadian media as anti-racist activists. Not only did this push American authorities to take action against the racist schoolyard project, but it also gave birth to Rock N Rights, the band pro human rights pennant. Furthermore, an important movie director approached Foster to make a documentary on his life, including his past as a young Neo Nazi leader, his present role as a spokesperson for Amnesty International and his music.
2005 became an important year for In This Life's members when they received a call from Bob Luthala, one of the most influential and respected manager (I Mother Earth, Edwin, Mobile) in Canada. After welcoming drummer Charles Allicy and signing with Luthala Management in the late 2005, the band decided to change its name to Your Favorite Enemies in early 2006 and started the working process on their first album, Love is a Promise Whispering Goodbye, with producer Steve Thompson (Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Jet), due out in late 2007.

Thank you for the videos you send me and Sophie… and the link of the South by Southwest description of the band! You’re amazing and I love you so much! Did I tell you that the video of Ben made him laugh like there was no tomorrow! I honestly can’t wait to see the one you did of the video shoot… :) I miss you sweet sis… these talks we had, I’ll remember them always… can’t wait to have the chance to have more of them!
I hope all is going well with you… and I bet you’re as excited as us to know the band is playing in Japan end of May… and as I told Andi just now, going to Japan in May is a testimony that our hard work and the energy we put into it pay off at the end! And it’s all of us together… not only the band and me and the people in Varennes… it’s each and everyone of you, those who run street teams and those who encourage us everyday by writing us and giving us the drive to move forward… that show in Japan, it’s for all of us in the YFE family!!!!! :)
