About me:
ABOUT THE BAND...
Your Favorite Enemies began 8 years ago when singer Alex Foster and guitar player Sef Lemelin formed the folk rock band The Riddlers. Joined by bass player Ben Lemelin and singer Isabel Paradis, The Riddlers signed a production deal with an American company based in Nashville, toured as much in Canada as in the United States and launched 2 independent albums. After a little more than five years, as difficult as the decision was to make considering all the work done to establish The Riddlers on the American folk scene, the members of the group decided to turn the page and call it quit in Spring of 2003.
After several months of rest, writing and studio work, the band previously known as The Riddlers came back with guitar player Jeff Beaulieu in the beginning of 2004 under the moniker In This Life, an alternative rock band, and launched the Quiet Day for Sunshine Breathers album.
2004 began with force for In This Life. While the members of the group were working on new material, the band has been invited to showcase at the prestigious Canadian Music Week and refused a record deal with an American Indie label. Meanwhile, Alex Foster's relentless campaigns against a well organized white supremacist organization distributing free copies of racist artists in North-American high schools put In This Life in every major Canadian media as anti-racist activists. Not only did this push American authorities to take action against the racist schoolyard project, but it also gave birth to Rock N Rights, the band pro human rights pennant. Furthermore, an important movie director approached Foster to make a documentary on his life, including his past as a young Neo Nazi leader, his present role as a spokesperson for Amnesty International and his music.
2005 became an important year for In This Life's members when they received a call from Bob Luthala, one of the most influential and respected manager (I Mother Earth, Edwin, Mobile) in Canada. After welcoming drummer Charles Allicy and signing with Luthala Management in the late 2005, the band decided to change its name to Your Favorite Enemies in early 2006 and started the working process on their first album, Love is a Promise Whispering Goodbye, with producer Steve Thompson (Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Jet), due out in late 2007.

Good Afternoon Friends,
I have to apologize because I have not been around a lot the past couple of weeks! I have had so many things going on in my life that have kept me pre-occupied! I will share some of that with you, but first I want to remind everyone that the YFE FAMILY REUNION is coming up… Aug 18th in Gaithersburg, MD… time is running out on the discounted rates at the hotel so if you have not already done so I suggest that you give them a call and book that room! All the details about the hotel and the Reunion can be found in my blog section!
So some of you may have already heard… but I found out a few weeks ago that I am going to be a Mommy! My husband and I are very excited and along with the excitement have come the pains of being pregnant! I am often very tired and this last week has been really rough with tummy aches! Everything is fine, it’s just what happens when you are pregnant!
The Rockin Fundraiser is still going strong and a few new items will be added very soon! Raven is in the process of designing the YFE Family Reunion T-shirts and Hoodies! So keep checking back to place your orders! The Reunion Buttons and Exclusive Photo will be available for you to purchase at the reunion… but the T-shirts and Hoodies are going to be by advance order only! So if you want one and you want it in time to get it signed at the reunion… better place your order today!

Good Evening Friends,
I hope all of you are doing well! I wanted to touch base regarding the “Family Reunion” which is being held right outside of Washington D.C. the weekend of August 18th 2007. A great hotel has been selected as home base for the event and great discounted rates are available. I would like to remind you that the discounted rooms are limited and they are only being held at the discounted price until July 27th 2007.
So far Isabel, Jeff, & Sef have confirmed their attendance but we hope to see a few more of our Canadian friends at the reunion! They are also scheduled to arrive the morning of the 18th. Since many of you plan to arrive on the 17th evening entertainment is being arranged! For those of you arriving by plane or train please remember to RSVP to Catt with the Virginia Street Team. A sample RSVP form is located in my Blog section, along with all of the details for the reunion. We are only asking that you RSVP so that we can make sure that everyone scheduled to attend makes it to the hotel safely, as you are all very important to us!
If you have any questions or comments about the “Family Reunion” please do not hesitate to contact me or my co-host Catt (VA Street Team). We are here to make this event special for everyone!
I would also like to let everyone know that a special “Rockin Fundraiser” has been organized to help raise funds to support YFE’s travel expenses for the Reunion. As we all know, gas isn’t cheep… so as a gesture of appreciation for everything that they are, we are selling YFE/Family Reunion related items to offset the cost of their gas and food during the trip!
