¿Quien somos y por que luchamos?
La Juventud para el Socialismo Internacional (YFIS) es una agrupación de jóvenes y trabajadores que luchan por el fin del capitalismo y por el socialismo democrático internacionalista, como lo explican las ideas genuinas del Marxismo. Tenemos enlaces mundialmente y estamos en afiliados a la Corriente Marxista Internacional, y con la publicación En Densa del Marxismo (www.marxist.com). Somos Marxistas en la tradición de Marx, Engels, Lenin y Trotski.
Aunque peleamos hombro a hombro con otros grupos contra el capitalismo mantenemos las ideas y orientación del Marxismo. Al estar involucrados en los movimientos estudiantiles, sindicales, inmigrantes y socialistas, YFIS toma una parte activa en las luchas diarias de los trabajadores y la juventud alrededor del mundo. Con noticias, análisis, material educativo, grupos de discusión y mucho mas, trabajamos para llevar las ideas del Marxismo a la mayor cantidad de gente posible.

Who We Are and What We Fight For
Who we are and what we do
Youth for International Socialism is a group of workers and youth that fight for the end of capitalism, and for democratic socialism, as explained by the ideas of genuine Marxism. We have links worldwide, and are in political solidarity with the ideas of the International Marxist Tendency presented at the In Defence of Marxism website (www.marxist.com). We are Marxists in the tradition of Marx and Engels, and as continued by Lenin and Trotsky. Although we fight against capitalism shoulder to shoulder with other groups with similar goals, we maintain the specific ideas and principles of Marxism in our activities.
By getting involved in the local, national, and international youth, labor, and communist movements, YFIS takes an active part in the day to day struggles of workers and youth around the world. With news and analysis, solidarity campaigns, educational material, discussion groups and much more, we work to spread the ideas of genuine Marxism to as many people as possible. We educate others and ourselves, and defend the interests of the workers and youth at all times. Join us in the fight for a better world!
Who I'd like to meet:
Anybody interested in the struggle against oppression!There are YFIS groups all around the world and likely there is one in your city or university. If there is not one we can provide you with the strategies and resources to start one.
Remember that capitalism is not going to overthrow itself! It is up to us, youth, students and workers, to learn the best traditions of the socialist struggle in order to overthrow this horrible system based on exploitation and establish socialism.

The Hip-Hop Ya See of Democracy event at the Brick House on July 24 is booking seven bands/groups/individuals. 20 minute sets. This is a BENEFIT CONCERT to spread awareness of the exploitation of Urban Youth in our democratic Metro and celebrate local music of all types

In response to your comment on my bulletin "Shouting at the Devil: Fuck You Capitalism":
Would you care to point out any of the problems or misunderstandings "comrade"? I would agree if you were to say that it makes very valid points, but does not offer alternatives- but I'm seeing a lot of accuracy... at least right now.
I have gone to the site- despite I felt it was a little cheap that you couldn't give me something to wrap my mind around yourself- no offense, I'm sure you're a very busy person.
I'm pro-marxist, and I agree that people like Mao and Stalin were not communists, but actually belong to the exact opposite side of the political spectrum- Fascism...
I look forward to collaboration and socializing with you.
