About me: I-squared, The Young Friends Network (YFN) of the International Institute of St. Louis, is a new organization which aims to promote public awareness of the important contribution ethnic diversity makes to the Metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri area’s economy and quality of life. I-squared intends to accomplish these purposes by providing support to the International Institute of Metropolitan St. Louis and by organizing its own events and initiatives. Membership is open to all individuals interested in furthering the purposes of i-squared.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interested in coming to events, learning more about multicultural St. Louis, and giving back to St. Louis's ethnic community.
Come and join us for our monthly membership meetings, the 2nd Monday of each month at 7pm. We meet in the lower level of Mangia Italiano (3145 S. Grand, St. Louis). Parking is available at meters (free after 7pm) and in the public lots behind St. Louis Bread Co and Seki Sui (east of S. Grand.)
We also have four committees: Social, Education/Community Service, Fundraising and Membership/Marketing. If you are interested in getting involved with one of them, please contact me at brinsons(at)iistl.org.
Fantastic garden day! I had so much fun chomping away at vines, removing sod, salvaging worms, even picking up trash. It was great to see the neighborhood kids out there too. It looks so different already! Great job! I can't wait to see how things progress.
THANKS FOR THE ADD! Please visit our MySpace page or website (www.avalontheatre.org) to learn about our production, LITTLE BOSNIA, a play we commissioned about the St. Louis Bosnian community.
Join FUEL & the RFT for an amazing afterwork party!
