My philosophy on books is: read everything! I purchase almost all of my books exclusively from thrift stores like the Goodwill or Salvation Army. For 5 bucks I can get about 13 awesome paperbacks.

The Summertime Blues Fesitval is a free festival featuring 14 musical acts from 3 different states. It will be held in downtown Freeport, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 29th-31st.
Just thought I would let everyone know that there is a free concert, Zoya Shuhatovich, a classical pianist, at the Clarion at Brazosport College on September 6.
