Who We Are:

Youth For Understanding (YFU) is one of the world's oldest, largest, and most respected international exchange organizations. YFU USA is a non-profit educational organization which offers opportunities for young people to study in another country, in addition to offering opportunities for families to host international high school students. If you are a teenager who wants to study in another country or a family member who wants to internationalize your household, we would love to speak with you!

Young people ages 15 to 18 around the world can spend a summer, semester or year with a host family in another culture, thereby preparing them for their responsibilities and challenges in a changing, interdependent global community.
