Y'hoshua used the name manyfaces (beginning in 2001, check the biters on myspace) through the 2005 release of his debut album: Searching...for my original face. As he has found that "face" in Y'hoshua (Hebrew for Joshua) he is no longer searching. Where his first album is primarily focused on dealing with his fatherless childhood, struggling with the pitfalls of youth and lonliness, exploring spirituality, and triumphing in the face of adversity; his forth-coming album (yet to be titled and completed) focuses more toward chivilrous virtues, challenging and uplifting the human race, and the never ending struggle to understand one's self. Since 1994 Y'hoshua has honed a wordcraft through the study of old world and modern prose and poetry, drawing his influence as much from the ancient world as from the present. The poetic and literary skill of Y'hoshua is rarely witnessed in the Hip Hop world, and his passion for truth rivalled by few.
