Throughout most of my life, I held interest in Alternative Healing/Medicine and the Eastern culture.

Presently, (as of April 2008) enrolled in Medical Qigong Healer and Daoist Priest Training at the Qigong & Daoist Training Center (QDTC). -- The American Dragon Gate Lineage (ADGL) founded by Michael Rinaldini (Li Chang Dao). Michael is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a Qigong Teacher, and a 22nd generation (Longmen) Dragon Gate Daoist priest. The ADGL is inspired by the teachings of Chinese qigong and Daoist Master Wan Su Jian from Beijing, and from Daoist Priest Ji Zhi Tong of White Cloud Temple, Beijing. Historically, the ADGL is linked to the Quanzhen (Complete Perfection).

T'ai chi and the medical practice of Qigong are modern manifestations of Daoism.
Qigong (pronounced chi kung) is a combination of two ideas: "Qi" means air, breath of life, or vital energy of the body, and "gong" means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline and achievement.
The art of Qigong consists primarily of meditation, relaxation, physical movement, mind-body integration, and breathing exercises. Practitioners of Qigong develop an awareness of qi in their body and use their mind to guide the Qi. When the practitioners achieve a sufficient skill level, they can direct or emit external Qi for the purpose of healing others.

Hey, I haven't written to you in a while. I hope you're doing well. I'm alright. Things are rather mundane in my town and life. I'll be heading back to college soon. Derek is going to be a senior in high school. He has been getting great grades since he switched schools. I'll be moving in with him, his mother, and her ex-boyfriend by November, and we might move out and get our own place not too long afterward. He wants to be a history teacher, but he also has some pretty radical ideas for his future. ...ya know, I kind of miss you.
