My mom is the strongest woman I know. she doesnt give a shit what anyone thinks of her..ever..and although it embarassed me when i was young, i now value that quality in her. I have watched her fight cancer without one complaint, or questioning why me? I can only hope to be half the mother she is to me.
And I couldn't forget my dad. He is a role model for the person I hope to find someday. I sometimes take his qualities for granted, forgetting that not everyone's father cooks gourmet meals for their family every night or e-mails their daughters every day at school to make sure things are okay. Although we fight a lot, I am so grateful that my parents are always there to support me and help me to learn and grow.
i do my own thing most of the time, not easily influenced by other peoples' expectations. spontanaeity is the key to happiness. i am still working on figuring out life in general, but i seem to have happiness down. all i know is that i want to do something different with my life, i dont want to live a cookie cutter lifestyle... i just dont know what it is i want yet. i generally like most people and am willing to listen to and try to understand other viewpoints besides my own. i dont have many strong values that i like to impose on others, except peace. but agreeing to disagree works for me too. basically love is all you need.
