| General | I'm an art lover. I love beatuliful things. Ballet, sculptures, paintings ect, are things i need to be mentally sane. Yoga is great too... i do that every once in a while.
I love to drive just because at 2:00am.
I also enjoy reading late at night, or replaying the same sad song 20 times. I am completely nocturnal. | | Music | It really depends on my mood. 311, NIN, 3 Doors Down, Sarah Fimm, Enigma, Deftones, The Police, The Cure, Massive Attack, Puscifer, Coldplay, The Crystal Method, Staind... i could go on forever, but then again i like anything that sounds good. Soundtracks are VERY GOOD...Babel, The Professional, Garden State and London. :0) Right now i'm very into House music but my obsession is always a good soundtrack. | | Movies | Important movies. Life is Beautiful, Babel, The Professional, Malena, and 21 Grams. Amores Perros, Crash and Sin City are cool too. Memoirs of a Geisha, Closer,Hero, The Last Samurai, Todo Sobre mi Madre, City of Angels and Chocolat are WOW movies. The most recent one I've seen and loved is La Mujer de mi Hermano ;) | | Television | The L Word, Dexter and any movie that catches my eye on OnDemand. I watch National Geographic a lot. | | Books | ohh boy this is like the movies and music. Anything by Paulo Coelho (Eleven Minutes, El alquimista, El Zahir, Veronica Decide Morir ect...) I've read Dan Brown too (Angels and Demons ect) I don't feel like writing them down now, but i read way too much. My favorite author is Paulo Coelho. His books have been very important to me because they've guided me, specially El alquimista (i read it in spanish). Powerful book. A must read. Right now i'm reading The Bride Stripped Bare. | | Heroes | The people who brought me to life. Period. |

About me:
Hey!! Well my name is Yolanda. I was born in Cuba and grew up in Barcelona (Spain). I'm excited about the life that's ahead of me. I'm hopeful because I know I have a whole life to make my dreams come true. I am happy because I have the guts to make anything happen. I've changed so much in the past couple of months... Everything happens for a reason even if what happens seems unfair...Life is really short, so do what makes you happy, in the end, that's the only thing you'll take to the grave. I party as hard as I can because no one on their death bed wishes they had spent more time at the office. On a more superficial level, I love to have fun, down for anything and i'll try anything once. Not too many thing intimidate me. I love extremes. I laugh like i'll never laugh again, i love till it hurts and live like i'll die tomorrow. I believe in second chances. I love nature specially rivers.
There's a lot i could say, but honestly, i don't have the time. Life is too complex to have just one truth. Open up and see the possibilities...*Love is not about looks, fortune, status or fame. Love is about beautiful moments that make you a better person for the rest of your life. Its about feeling complete when you are with that special some1. Its about sharing your dreams and work as a team to make them happen. Its about feeling beautiful even if its 4:00am and look like hell. Its about seeing beyond looks, sex and money. Nothing will ever compare...Nothing will ever come close, so the day you feel it, you will know.

Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet intelligent, mature, nice and honest people. If you lack ANY of these, please, don't bother. Who I wouldn't like to meet: People who like to use others to reach their goals or ambitions at any cost. Back stabbers. Envious people, liars, shit talkers ect...I've had bad experiences before with people like these, and honestly I thank them. Now I know who I Don't want to be. I don't envy anyone because I love who I am. I don't need to screw people over to get what I want. I have no respect for low people and I don't tolerate people who insist on being ignorant. With that said, hello :0)
