So another year of Young Musicians Club is about to begin. This will be our fourth year of the program with each year getting bigger and better. Last year we had 36 people and eight bands. Unfortunately, this year we are going to have to limit the program to only 20 people and four bands. We will no longer be having an advanced group and will only be accepting musicians who are not currently in a band. The first date of YMC will be Wednesday, June 18 at 6pm. On this date, we'll do an orientation to the program, ask each person to do a 3-5 minute audition, and put people into bands. We try our best to put people together into bands based on their ability level and the types of music they like. We usually have a shortage of good vocalists and bass players, so if you sing or play bass send us an e-mail. Rehearsals will be every Wednesday during the late afternoon or evening each week. All meetings and rehearsals are held at The Launching Pad (1609 W. University Ave in Muncie-back side of the building).
Cost of the program is only $20 for the whole summer and this includes a t-shirt, a DVD of the final performance, and extra goodies from our sponsors.
