Heroes
Music that inspires and/or resonates. (I know heroes are supposed to be human. TOO BAD!)
Favorite lyrics for various reasons: "It's so erotic when your make-up runs." (Porcupine Tree) "Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown, waiting for someone or something to show you the way." (Pink Floyd) "I want the most--I'll take the least, and I'll be alright." (HelloDave)
About me: Depending on the day and time, I can be many different things. One constant: I'm a musician. I play keyboards: piano, Hammond organ, electric piano, sometimes those cheap sounding Italian organs, synthesizers, and increasingly nowadays, computers. I play bass guitar, and some guitar. And...I sing! I love to listen to, and perform, many different types of music, twangy rock, latin rock, progressive rock, pseudo-country, hard rock, psychedelic rock....well, I guess the one unifying thread here is rock! But that's a pretty broad category.
I love movies. Recent favorites: The Departed; Children of Men; Blood Diamond. Old favorites: look down and left.

REASONS FOR LIVING: music, women, friends, music, books, my family, movies, people, music, travel, a clean car, a good drink, music, Mexican food, crushes, good conversation, (your name here), and being the center of attention.
WORDS OF WISDOM: A great poet once said that "when we die, we won't regret the work we didn't get done, we'll regret the sex we didn't have." Hmmm...I thought poets got laid all the time!?
Who I'd like to meet: ....myself, just to see what I'm really like.
It was good to see you Friday night, we had a great time. Not so much Saturday morning, though. You'd think at my age I'd know better than to drink that much beer!
What's the good word bro? Things have been slow around my parts, but they're pickin' up finally. Might....and I say might...be going to N.O. Jazz & Heritage this year. Will know next week.
Did you get yer Rush tix?...They went on sale yesterday.
I tried my damndest to win them for us all week. My house phones don't have a great redial. Making it harder for me to win tix anymore. I'm not as prolific at it as I used to be because of that. Plus, grandparental duties get in the way...Darn grandkids.
No worries, Pal! I'm not letting go of you...how could I? We have a special bond that only 2 people who have never met face to face can have :) Seriously, you've helped me out a lot a few months ago. I don't forget these things. I guess I meant to say that I was disposing of things like local bands and clubs and crap like that, not actual people.
Will you be playing with Hello Dave at Chuck's in Wisconsin Sept 1st & 2nd? Nelson & I had so much fun last time we're going back for Labor Day weekend, bringing our friends Cheryl & Phil this time. Hope to see you there!
Where oh where did tony's picture go? Oh where, oh where could it be? With his hair died red and those eyes of blue, oh where, oh where could he have gone?
