Y.O.C. is a fascinating and versatile artist.
He's musical talents is spanning from Opera to Metal.
Through the years, he has always had an interest for mystique and atmosphere in music.
Like most of us ; he was a fan of HENDRIX , DEEP PURPLE , BLACK SABBATH ,
ALICE COOPER , IRON MAIDEN ,
DEF LEPPARD , old METALLICA , DIO , JUDAS PRIEST
and Thrash Metal ( Bay area and German Thrash ) …
He got himself involved in the Metal scene by starting to write for fanzines, magazines etc.
Besides writing, he wanted to be a part of the scene himself as a vocalist.
In the late 80's , his voice was similar to Ozzy Osbourne;
and later between DIO and DANZIG , until he had developed a voice of his own.
To further enhance his vocals, he worked with pedagogues in the 90's within the operatic music.
It was during this education he really developed his vocal ranges.
After this period of education, he wanted to record music and started recordings on his own in 1998 under the monicker Y.O.C.
These first recordings was mostly within classical operatic music.
His fascination for Metal music has never died, and after working with classical opera music, he wanted to explore the metal music as a musician.
He wrote and recorded his own music, aswell as paying tribute to some of his favorite bands by recording great covers of them.
By now, the recordings was professionally done.
Some of the bands he has covered are IRON MAIDEN , ICED EARTH , SLAYER , SAXON , OVERKILL , MEGADETH and FLOTSAM & JETSAM.
His musical sphere within Heavy Metal is spanning from Thrash to progressive metal and AOR.
Even if most of his recordings is Metal oriented, he has not forgotten his love for classical opera.
He wrote and recorded "Thy Kingdom" in 2003 and dedicated it to the victims of 9/11.
This piece of music is clearly a statement of his love for opera and also how affected he was from the horrors of 9/11.
He has also dedicated recordings to Metal musicians who has passed away over the years.
Sofar, he has recorded CD Single & Ep 's 1999 - 2007.
His recordings has been reviewed in many zines and webzines stretching from CROATIA to AUSTRALIA…
Over the years, Y.O.C. has been played in hundreds of radio stations all over the world.
To sum up his recordings, he has recorded CD singles/ep's, no full time albums.
He is currenlty searching for new, professional projects that can further elevate his musical talents and dreams.
