HIS LATEST PROJECTS WERE RECORDING WITH REGINA SPEKTOR RUFUS WAINWRIGHT AND YAEL NAIM. IN YAEL'S ALBUM YOED RECORDED ALL THE STRING PARTS USING HIS CELLO ONLY AND TOOK PART IN THE STRING ARRANGEMENTS.
YOED HAS ALSO BEEN KEEPING VERY BUSY IN HIS HOME RECORDING STUDIO USING HIS VAST EXPERIENCE TO RECORD AND SEND CELLO TRACKS/ARRANGEMENTS TO MUSICIANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Yoed Nir is a musical prodigy from Israel who is considered by many to be one of the top cellists.. Born in Israel in 1980, Yoed is a classically trained cellist who began his music studies at the age of seven in the Tel-Aviv Conservatory and is a 2005 graduate of The Jerusalem Music Academy. His musical talents have won numerous competitions and scholarships, qualifying him for select invitations to study at some of the most prestigious workshops for classical symphonic and chamber music under the tutelage of some of the greatest cellists and conductors of our time. Yoed has been selected again and again to represent his country of Israel, traveling the world for performances with some of the most prestigious music ensembles.---------------
What sets Yoed apart from his peers and has earned him a distinguished reputation outside the world of classical music is his ability to cross over into the more mainstream music genres of rock, jazz, and pop music. His creatively progressive, imaginative and brilliant musical compositions, arrangements and collaborations have distinguished him as one of the preeminent artists and have placed him at the forefront of the music industry as one of the most highly sought after studio session cellists.
