Josh and Jesse Todd are brothers, and they have been destined to make music together since the day they were born. Having the same mother will do that to you. Some would say that music isn't in your genes, it's in your blood. I'm not sure what that means, but it would seem to be true in this case.
Josh picked up the guitar at the impressionable age of 13. When you don't have a lot of things in life to distract you yet, like bills, cars, girls, etc. you can focus on one thing for an abnormally large amount of time. This is what happened with Josh Todd and his love for music. As years went by, he realized how much music was truly a part of his existence.
Enter Jesse Todd. Having inherited the rhythm chromosome (whichever one that is), he trained and programmed and studied and composed and played and wrote, and came out a madman. Bringing the solid drive and the modern-influenced electro groove to the plate, Jesse is the backbone of the musical operation known as Yo! Future. He started on the drums at the age of 10, and quickly progressed to other instruments such as the guitar and keyboard.
Separated by thousands of miles and several state lines for the last couple of years, the winds of fate blew in a different direction that landed Jesse Todd back in their hometown of Denver, Colorado. It is there that Yo! Future setup base and began their quest of dominating the internet, the airwaves, and the ionosphere with their music.
The sound of Yo! Future started with good old fashioned guitar rock, and transformed through the software synths and programming of modern music production software, namely Logic and Pro Tools. Their instruments range from Schecter Guitars, Line 6 Amps, M-Audio Keyboards, Apple MacBook Pros, a Roland TD-12, Native Instruments Absynth, FM7, Pro-53, Kontakt, Reaktor, Propellerhead Reason 4, and whatever else comes down the pike.
In the days to come, Yo! Future also plans to use their music to solve global warming, world hunger, and cure cancer.
its good lol. it was randomly cold and really windy today idk y. weather man sucks haha. its "Buchanan" haha like the president :). thats so tight, can u play snow song by RHCP??? what are ur plans for spring break?
How cool is this? A band that spends time on music, letting it grow and expand on it's own accord...no time wasted on a false "image" and endless self promotion, instead just constant focus on self improvement and the musical growth that accompanies each project! That is what Yo! Future is about to me!
hey many, hows it going. how is colorado??? dude ur music rocks man. i love it. i still dont know how you think of all that stuff, but is awesome!! keep it up dude!!! o also hows ur mac haha?? and did u make that video?? because its awesome whoever did
Hey man, sorry it took me so long to actually listen to your new band's music! Kick ass! I'm really digging it. My boyfriend and I were just listening to it and I totally got lost in it as background music until my bf asked "who is this we're listening to?" I told him and he was like wow, because we really are likin' it!
