Liturgical music. Tigray folk music. Abesha folk Music. I like music from Ethiopia all the way south to and including Tanzania. Not ANY further north or south within Africa. I also like music from Ethiopia west to the Atlantic. Not ANY further West north or south within Africa. As for outside of Africa I like black gospel and christian reggae but not rastafarian or secular reggae or dancehall music. I don't like 95% of white people's music or any middle east music except Sephardic music and I do not like any of the music from eastern-asian. No prejudice... I just don't like those people's music or most of their foods,(except certain spices commonly imported to Ethiopia). To me when we say "To each their own" it means "To each man permit the freedom to choose their own tastes in music, food and girls", yes? Of course, it can be no other way.
Movies
I'll address BOTH movies and TV right here because both are really the same kind of visual arts, but they just have different ways to record them, (one on film the other on magnetic tape or DVD). After all, TV is really just movies you can watch at home and that IS what it always has been. Sports movies, news movies, game show movies and many others, because "movies" is short for "moving pictures" and that is what TV in fact always is (until you hit PAUSE).
Okay, so my taste in either cinema or TV movies is very different from my taste in music and food.
I really like a lot of genre of movies, especially the more exciting movies like good Sci-Fi stuff and all the classic horror films, classic thrillers, classic romance stories, etc. I can't stand most musicals except for a few classics like Fiddler on The Roof and The Sound of Music,(both of which are about people escaping from totalitarian dictatorships). But I mostly like many classic sci-fi and thrillers, such as any "Star Trek" and any "Star Gate" stuff and the classic Roddy Piper sci-fi thriller "They Live", and of course the scary movie thrillers like "Nightmare on Elm Street" series,(Freddy beats boring moldy old Jason any day!), and older classics like the complete works of Vincent Price, Bella Lagosi, Abbot and Costello, The Three Stooges, The Little Rascals,(aka Our Gang), The Dead End Kids (aka The Bowery Boys... but I was saddened to hear that Hunts Hall was a homo in real life, just like Fred Gwynn who played Herman Munster). and of course I loved the classic Addams Family TV series. Also Frankenstein,(but I can't stand stupid vampire crap... Vampires always suck!). You'd really have to ASK me "Do you like this one?" and name any movie that has been on TV and if I know it I'll tell you why it was good or bad. Yes I am the only food and film critic I know of who is NOT a homo! Hahaha!
I also like TV concerts and concert movies such as "Rave Un2 the Year 2000" (that was the BOMB pay per view Prince concert on Dec 31, 1999!), Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge and Rockers and Jimmy Cliff in The Harder they Come and Jimmy Hendrix and Woodstock (1969 not the lame 1999 one) and my favorite of course are all the great Bible movies that have been made except "Solomon and Sheba" with Yule Brenner, because they used white people to play every singe Abesha, which was such an insult to all africans yet Trinity Briadcasting Network KEEPS showing the damned thing as if it was all good! They are such stupid typical southern demoncrats who think that all of us "negros" are all just a bunch of savage black sambos who they need to saved by their ever so compassionate white super hero "Captain Save-A-Spook").
As for sports, I love to watch when Africans are doing track and field, marathons, golf, swimming, tennis, equestrian sports, soccer and American football (I refuse to call soccer "football" because professional American football is older than professional soccer so that seniority gives it the exclusive rights to call itself by the word "football". They used the term first, fair and square, so soccer has no right to steal their word for its own use. They should just call it soccer and quit acting like a bunch of whining spoiled Euro-brats,(even if that is exactly what many of them are)! And I like techno stuff like most kinds of motor racing. I also like fishing and game-bird hunting. as Adam Sandler sings, "I love to eat turkey, like a good boy should!" but also pheasants and all the largest varieties of water-fowl too, duck, geese and even "the feast of kings" swan! So naturally I also like most movies and TV shows about all these sports I like.

The complete Holy Bible and also any other historical and educational books. Also I love a lot of Sci-Fi, but who even HAS any time to read fiction these days?
I normally just read the Bible (which is NOT fiction at all) and the rest of my leisure reading time is gobbled up like injera by the great gluttonous time-gobbler (aka the internet)!
