Heroes
the part no one reads

Heroes are few and far between. I'm going to take the cliché rout and say what is obvious: My friends are my heroes. I'll just say this: Even though I spend a good deal of my time being self-centered and arrogant, these people are still there after it all. We've each had our own separate dramas and probably spent a bunch of time not talking, and somehow gotten past it, and done amazing things none the less..

Beyond them, there's always those important people both contemporary and in history, both famous and not. They're the people that do all that stuff everyone has been telling us to do all our lives. They go against the current, do new things, and stand up for what they believe. They open up the world for new groups of people who had never had a chance, or create great things that make the world just that much easier to life in.

They're why I.. We, when it's quiet and our minds wander off, dream of doing things so far beyond our reach, and why we wake up and do things that used to be just outside of our reach. They make sure we never forget that nothing is truly out of our reach if we want it bad enough.
