I am an actress/singer living in NYC. My "Breakout" role was playing female lead in the HBO feature, "STRANGER INSIDE". In the film, I portray a young inmate who is searching for the convict mother she never knew. This role blessed me with an IFP Gotham Award, a Spirit Award Nomination, and an Outfest Screen Idol Award Nomination. I went on to work with Denzel Washington in his directorial debut, "THE ANTWONE FISHER STORY", DANI and ALICE, SHORTBUS, I'M NOT THERE..... And on Television: "THE UNIT" "24", "LAW & ORDER CI", "THIRD WATCH","NEW AMSTERDAM" and a host of other movies and television shows.
2008**
The end of 2008 I was surprised to get a call from SHOWTIME to shoot the presentation of "THE FARM". This is Ilene Chaiken's follow up to the long running series "THE L WORD". As of now, Showtime still hasn't Greenlit the show. So fingers crossed. The script we shot, and the stories that can be told of all the women if prison could make for some very good dramatic characters for women to play. Me being one of them!
