In China, I grew up in a village with a strong cultural and artistic tradition. I have been drawing and painting nearly every day since I was four years old.
As a young adult, I explored different forms of art. I was a violinist, a song-writer and a passionate young poet. I found that, whether the final product was a poem, a song or a picture, the creative process was the same. Each was a means for me to express the emotions I feel through the relationship of people to nature.
