About Persona Non Grata

Business Class is set to release the first single by Brooklyn-based hip hop act Persona Non Grata (PNG) later this month. The YouTube and MySpace-fuelled smash hit “Uncle Black” has taken Brooklyn by storm and launched the certified urban dance craze know at “The Uncle Black” in the New York City borough’s exploding under 21 night club scene.

PNG is a genre-defining rap group - a unique blend of New York street smarts and down-south swagger. With their roots firmly planted in Brooklyn, several of the group’s members have also spent a good deal of time in the south, and it is this combination of influences that makes their music so original and exciting. The PNG trio - Heedi Blacc, Ill-O, and Ivo Dinero - are the next generation of hip-hop. At 18 years old, the three talented young men have tapped directly into the heart of the city’s youth. With legions of fans in place on the strength of word of mouth “Poof Be Gone” is the first in a string of PNG hits to be released by Business Class this year.
