My name is York Ash and I am 34 years old. Ive done alot of traveling, lived alot of places and seen some really crazy stuff in my life. I was in the Air Force for 9 years and would recommend it to anyone. It was a great time! My life experiences (those who know me know I have had quite a few crazy ones) have made me who I am today and I do not have any regrets on how I have lived. Each day is a new mystery to me becasue you never know who you are going to meet or what is going to happen. I hate drama, but love excitement which could probabbly explain why I move alot. I just get bored living in one place for to long after the excitement of a new city wears off. I am a pro mma fighter and trainer for Team Inferno. I have been training and fighting since 1999 and absolutely love it. I fight at 145lbs or 155lbs. Since I have been fighitng I have met some great people involved in this sport. I have two wonderful children which keep me busy all the time and are basically my life as they are about to hit their teens, York who is 13 and Ivory who is 11. They are great kids and I couldnt ask for better ones and hopefully they do not give me a heart attack. I live in Travese City right now with my son. Besides being a mma fighter I am a full time college student. I have a Bachelors in psychology from UTD and I currently am attending CMU for a masters in business. I have a year left and them I am out of here to somewhere warm. Where I dont know yet, but I am sure it will be interesting. And if you can source your own life from its presence. I want to know if you can live with failure yours and mine and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “Yes.” It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children. It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.     Well getting ready to kick in the high gear... last week went pretty good. Probably gonna get with Joe Galer during the week and my place thru the weekend. I need more sparring partners on some days... I implemented a kettlebell routine for my 2 aday days... pure insanity on that shit. 6 weeks out from the KOTC title fight, I feel great and am healthy.
