Bonded together by their pure love for music, food and God, four seasoned, in-demand sessionistas congregated to make music of their own. That’s YOSHA, comprised of Karel Honasan on bass, Nikko Rivera ..boards, Mike Alba on drums and, of course, Yosha herself on lead vocals. They will release their album Baby Steps featuring ten tracks, including the launching single “Natural.” They will launch their album on September 29, 2008 at Teatrino Greenhills with their favorite musicians such as Freestyle vocalist Mike Luis, saxophone player Mike Guevarra, Corporate Lo-fi and Wahujuara trumpet player Richie Gonzaga, percussionist Arwin Nava of Wahijuara and Radioactive Sago Project and guitarist/producer extraordinaire Jack Rufo. Sino Sikat? guitarist Nick Azarcon will host the event.

Borne out of a desire to produce good Filipino music, YOSHA is a collective composed of bassist Karel Honasan, pianist Nikko Rivera, drummer Michael Alba and vocalist – Yosha.

Mga idol!:-) Yang tatlong nasa picture na yan, MGA IDOL KO YAN!!! You should see these guys perform! MISMONG MISMO!!! WORLD CLASS!!! nauubusan ako ng boses palagi pag pinapanood ko sila, sigaw kase ako ng sigaw, SARAP kase talaga!!!:-) They are definitely one of the best bands in the Philippines! RATED A+!!!:-)
