PROFILE

パンクロックバンドのボーカルを経て、1994年バップレコードより衝撃のソロメジャーデビュー！！
しかし・・・全く売れず(笑)
僅か二年の活動で沈黙。--※この頃は本名で活動--
ラジオ番組のパーソナリティー、小説の執筆などの仕事をはじめるが、
1999年「どうしても音楽をやりたい！」の一念で、突如「ヨシケン」を名乗り原ストリートライブを開始。
当時、ストリートライブのメッカだった原宿神宮橋で、生ギター１本で爆音のバンド達相手に独り勝ち。
中高生の間で、アイツは誰だ！？と話題騒然に。
圧倒的なヨシケン人気に押され
2001年5月日本青年館大ホール「原宿魂」in日本青年館～原宿から未来へ～
2002年1月渋谷公会堂「路上のロックンロール」
2004年2月SHIBUYA-AX「この道を行けばレジェンド」
2005年7月SHIBUYA-AX「終わらない約束」
2008年8月SHIBUYA-AX「THE SONG OF BLUE SKY」
これまでに5度、大ホールワンマンライブを決行、大成功に収める。
そのチケットの殆どは路上の手売りで販売し、今やインディーズシーンでこの伝説を知らないものはいない。

これまでにメジャーで1枚のアルバムとシングル、インディーズで5枚のマキシシングルと、2枚のアルバムを発表。
2003年7月発表「Boy's Life」は、10代を中心とした若手ファンの圧倒的支持のもと
TOWER RECORDS渋谷インディーズチャート1位に輝いた。
2004年には、それまでの事務所、レコード会社を離れ Vanilla Sky Recordsを設立。自らが代表となる。
現在、アーティスト活動の傍ら、若手アーティストのプロデュースを行う。
2008年５月、インディーズでは3作目となるニューアルバム「BIG SMILE! GO DIVE!」をリリース。
