Sul finire del 2001 prime prove e primi brani: Claudio estrae dal cilindro il nome della banda, il groove di pop song e il manuale della canzone p., manifesto ideale del gruppo. Nel corso del 2002 Claudio si allontana per necessità e subentra Diego, il batterista che viene dalla montagna. E' la formazione tuttora in pista. 2003. Prime uscite live, di spalla per Red Worm's Farm, poi Valentina dorme. Si tenta con i concorsi: Rock Targato Italia. Fuori quasi subito. 2004. Altri concerti dal vivo, poi il Rockit-Sherwood Contest. Classificati Ottavi. La stagione estiva: i festival Rockonte e Fosbury, con Artemoltobuffa ed En roco. I brani nuovi. Pochi. Finalmente il primo demo: 8 tracce. Gita al Mei. Nessuno chiama. L'inverno tra un locale e l'altro, con Alix e Zu. Due etichette si fanno avanti. I By Popular Demand non sanno bene che fare. Aspettano. 2005.
Primi contatti con Fosbury Records. E' amore. Sarà disco. Poi spalla a Super Elastic Bubble Plastic e 2° Fosbury Festival, con Grimoon e Rosolina mar. E' tardi. Si va in studio.
