Balancé é um projecto que tem como objectivo a fusão do acústico com o electrónico. Com Pedro Monteiro, Nuno Monteiro (Riba), Serge Polho e Carlos Pinto.
Riba é um improvisador nato. Ao longo deste percurso tem inúmeras participações em vários projectos, desde música popular a hardcore e, agora, música oriental.
Serge Polho (Petit Serge de la rue) estudou clarinete no conservatório e o seu percurso está intrinsecamente ligado ao hip hop. As suas notas transportam diversos sentimentos, trazendo à musica outra cor e mais plenitude.
Pedro Monteiro procura o equilíbrio perfeito de uma fusão. A sua escrita percorre vários estilos, proporcionando uma viagem calma e divertida por terrenos pouco visitados.
Carlos Pinto (Cenoura), estuda actualmente Flauta Transversal no conservatório Eborae Música. O encanto da flauta tem-lhe proporcionado experiências desde a música tradicional até à música erudita. O som melodioso, de timbre doce e suave, funde-se com o ambiente alargando o espaço da nossa imaginação e deixando-o fluir tranquilamente. Carlos Pinto procura agora um novo desafio, a música electrónica.
Balancé não tem nenhum estilo definido. O envolvimento dos elementos da banda surge naturalmente, dando o espaço e tempo a cada um para encontrar o seu balancé.
É com as melodias vibrantes da guitarra e com a cor e suavidade do clarinete que Pedro encontrou a mistura ideal de um som que se caracteriza como quente e leve. As melodias sorridentes e as batidas sonhadoras fazem deste som um transporte para emoções puras e verdadeiras. A sinceridade dos instrumentos cria nos sons uma ligação mais próxima com o exterior proporcionando ambientes acolhedores e de união. As memórias de cada um, as recordações que trazemos sempre connosco, as lições que tiramos da vida estão reflectidas nas notas construindo em cada musica um equilíbrio harmonioso de histórias alegres e sentidas.
Balancé é o equilíbrio que procuramos dentro de cada um, é o acreditar em nós e nos outros. É sermos capaz de ser fiéis ao que acreditamos passando sempre uma mensagem receptiva ao que nos rodeia.

Balancé is a band (project) that joined with the aim to make a fusion between the electronic and the acoustic music.
The group of musicians: Pedro Monteiro, Nuno Monteiro “Riba”, Serge Polho and Carlos Pinto.
“Riba” is a talented solo player with a long record going from Pop to Hardcore, lately also adventuring in Oriental Music.
Serge “Petit Serge de la Rue” is a clarinet player with Conservatory background and his track is closely linked to the Hip Hop. His notes carry mixed feelings bringing up more colour and plenitude to the music.
Pedro Monteiro is looking for the perfect balance of this fusion and his lyrics go across a number of styles inspiring a calm journey of unexperienced emotions.
Recently Carlos Pinto “Cenoura” studying flute at the Eborae Musica Conservatory also joined the group with a traditional and erudite touch that boosts our imagination flow. He is now trying a new challenge with the electronics.
Balancé does not have a defined and concrete style. The natural involvement of its members allows each one to step on his own personal search for a new “balancé”.
With the vibrating melodies of the guitar and the “colour” and smoothness of the clarinet, Pedro has found the perfect mix of a sound that is warm and light, too.
The happy melodies and the dreaming beat make up of “Balancé” a bridge for pure and truthful emotions that helps each one of us to find an intimate balance.
Balancé is the interior balance that everyone one of us is looking for. It means that we believe in ourselves but we also believe in other people. It is about being faithful to what we believe in, and to spread a message with our experience to those around us.

German born, Belgium residing Egon Fisk has been writing music since he was only 12. His varying pieces of recent electronica (available here) show an attention to detail, a musicality and an originality rarely matched these days. Some of it works killer on the dancefloor too, as tested in Belfast by us.
He has recently released some other music on Roulette Records, and i believe he has some music coming out on Umbrelladelika Records soon, so keep an eye out for those.
Snk-To Far Away EP, reveals the easy-listening and somehow "emotronic" side of this Portuguese producer.
Both tracks, October sweetnes and To far away, are excelent pieces. for sure the high points of this Ep. Higher States of K, is spacy track, with unsual vocal maninpulations supported by a fat Tech background.
