Young Brittany’s talent for singing was discovered at age 9, when she left a voice message for a family friend singing “I believe I could fly” and ever since Young Brittany has been flying high. She is well recognized in Virginia’s music circuit due to her phenomenal vocal abilities, her longevity, and her ability to bring an audience to their feet. She has performed in countless events such as, Afr’am Fest, the National Woman’s Conference, Big Daddy’s Community Feed, Huntington Middle School Fashion Show and many other events. In 2003, Young Brittany beat out 75,000 hopefuls and was placed in the top 4 to appear on “Star Search”. She is also a member of “Children in Films” in Hollywood and has appeared in plays and even had the opportunity to audition for the Broadway musical “The Color Purple”. On January 23rd 2008, Young Brittany appeared on 106 & Park, winning the Wild –Out Wednesday female R&B competition. Young Brittany also performed in New York City at The Blaze the Stage competition Hosted By Laurie Anne Gibson of MTV’s making of the Band and special guest LL Cool J and Cassidy. She will also be returning to
106 & Park for the Wild-Out female R&B championship on September 11th 2008.
While living up to the reputation of “The little girl with the big voice”, Young Brittany is on her way to flying high and taking the music industry by storm.
