The young g.o.d.d. better known as ALEX DIMEZ strives to create the lyricism of timeless hiphop embedded with similies, metaphors and humorous punchlines while showing introspection and diversity in his concepts and subject matter. ALEX DIMEZ new single 'ALL OUT' is being released on VINYL to every DJ and radio station across Canada and to selected DJ's in the U.S. and will be featured on various mix-cd's and digital downloads. 'ALL OUT' shows ALEX's development as a songwriter backed with the artistry of producer Jaydapro's melodic beat. In 2009 ALEX DIMEZ began touring the Province of Ontario, performing in London, Kingston, Barrie, Thunder Bay etc...opening up for for Legends like ICE CUBE, major label artists such as BUSTA RHYMES and Canadian hiphop pioneers Maestro Fresh Wes and Choclair. The success of ALEX DIMEZ energetic live performances created more opportunity's for ALEX DIMEZ to tour Canada and open for AZ, FREEWAY, KARDINAL OFFISHALL, MR. LIF and NECRO.
ALEX DIMEZ first single 'SO HARD' has received national college radio play and the video for 'SO HARD' features an introduction from TERMANOLOGY and was distributed nationally on the AMBUSH DVD series.
In 2008 ALEX DIMEZ was the ONLY rap artist in Canada to showcase at EVERY major festival in Toronto i.e. Canadian Music Week, North by NorthEast and the Toronto Urban Music Festival. This was followed by performing at EVERY major outdoor civic centre in Toronto including Dundas Sqaure, Nathan Phillips Square, Metro Hall and the CNE Bandshell. ALEX DIMEZ opened for KRS-ONE, RZA, M.O.P, SHEEK LOUCH from the L.O.X and CORMEGA which garnered positive concert reviews in print by NOW magazine and EXCLAIM! magazine.
