About me: I host the Talking with Heroes Talk Show Program. My daughter was in the Army and my son in law just got back from his second deployment to Iraq with the 1-8 out of Ft Carson. They served in Mosul for almost 15 months... job well done!! I am the proud grandfather of two!
On May 29th we are broadcasting a two hour talk show event LIVE from Colorado Springs. Go to talkingwithheroes.com for details and how to listen!
In October 2006, January 2007 and again August and September of 2007 we went to Iraq and interviewed Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy, US Army Corps of Engineers, Minnesota National Guard and Iraqis. We came back with footage and interviews that shows that there is a lot of progress most of America has not heard about.
On our last trip we were in Eastern and Western Baghdad with US Army Corps of Engineers, North Dakota National Guard, Air Force, Ft Carson Army Soldiers, in Camp Falluja and also back for the second time to Camp Taqaddum with the Marines. Check out our 3rd Iraq Tour Interview Index page from www.talkingwithheroes.com to see who we interviewed and to listen 24/7.
Check out the short Video Clips from different places in Iraqand also events and interviews we have covered in 2008 around the country including filming inside Walter Reed Army Medical Center and interviews there and with wounded. To see these videos for free go to www.myfbn.com channel 4. Also the first two DVD's from our 3rd trip to Iraq is now available for just $12 plus shipping.
Check out our pics that also include some of our On the Road LIVE Programs in cities around America in 2007.
What we do is not about politics. We focus on supporting our men and women in the military and their families. We put politics aside and get 100% in support of our troops and their families.
Pass this on to everybody you know in the military where ever they are serving, to families you know who have a loved one serving, to all Veterans and also to those you know who support our Troops and their Families.
We also now have our improved Online NEWS Site with stories and news releases from PAO's and Troops directly from Iraq and Afghanistan plus stories and news releases from Military and Veterans Support Groups across the country. The website is www.thankyouforyouservice.us If you want to reach us our talk show webpage is www.talkingwithheroes.com
You can email me at bob@talkingwithheroes.com.
Who I'd like to meet: I am privileged to meet active duty men and women who are serving our country, veterans around the country, people who devote part of their lives to supporting our troops. I like to meet people who support our troops and their families regardless of what their politics are.

If you are able,
save for them a place
inside of you
and save one backward glance
when you are leaving
for the places they can
no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say
you loved them,
though you may
or may not have always.
Take what they have left
and what they have taught you
with their dying
and keep it with your own.
And in that time
when men decide and feel safe
to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace
those gentle heroes
you left behind.
