Musicians must complete an application form and return it to the address given with a short biography and a 10-minute recording of two contrasting jazz standards.
Rhythm section applicants may have a lead instrument on their recording if required.
An adjudication panel will choose 10 semi finalists from entries received. All semi finalists will be notified during the week beginning 7 April.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants should be no older than 21 on 1 April 2008 and have a residential address in Scotland.
Previous winners of the competition cannot reapply.
Applicants should ensure they are available for the semi-final and final before applying.
