I'm gonna be in Fresno this Thursday so I won't be at the alternative to the prayer bfast. I am, however, trying to get a day or two off for the CD. See you soon!
And I miss you all, too. When I left the community I was living in for four months last friday their community president gave me a nice farewell talking-to. He thanked me for my work and told me never to forget what they are fighting for. I told him I never would and that I would return to the fight in the US. We are fighting in different parts of the world but do so with the same spirit. Im excited to get back.
For now Im traveling in Ecuador. By next week I should be in Peru for a couple weeks there. Then, December 8, Im back to the States.
Wellstone Action is coordinating an exclusive labor organizing training seminar in Los Angeles for 7/30-8/4 2006. It's not open to the public, but labor organizations can get involved. These seminar thingamajiggars are really awesome, and I encourage everyone at clue to go!
Hello YLP, how are you? THings with me are fine and wonderful. Im always excited for new signs to hold, so upon my return Ill be happy to carry anything you recommend. And yes, I do plan on returning. And when I do, I will be a much more useful organizer...the kind that can speak spanish. Yeah, its pretty exciting. Ive been studying for about a month now here in Ecuador and have made great strides. But after six months, I should be a lot better. Im here till December, and should be back there in January. Until then, take care of things.
