A recording studio in Bushwick Brooklyn formerly located in New Paltz NY where tons of records were made.

We have Wi-Fi and sleeping facilities if needed.

The studio is run by musicians and songwriters. We've found this to come in very handy when recording. Not all engineers are musicians. We are youthful, creative, enthusiastic, positive & fun.
We believe in the importance of good gear, but feel that musicians don't need to spend large amounts of money to get a great recording. Of course nice microphones, preamps & compressors help, but we believe that ears, technique & nice gear are most important, in that order.

Young Love recordings have been in TV shows, commercials, movies & on radios internationally. Recordings made here have been featured on NPR, the BBC & stations across Europe. They have been written about in several magazines including Spin, NME & Paste. Several of our recordings have made it in the top 100 CMJ college radio charts and have led to bands touring the world. So basically,... you're in good hands.

Gary earned a BA in Audio Production, has been a recording engineer since having a 4-track in high school and a musician for longer. As a sideman he was signed to Virgin Records where he got the experience of recording with grammy winning producer Nellee Hooper (Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt, Massive Attack).
Gary has lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, London & NY.
