Young Mac has been interested in music since the age of five. He did his first song in Dice One Studios at nine. While with Dice One Records, a family label he has learned many things about the life of music. His first song was I get a rush, and from that point on he has continued striving towards making music. Young Mac has been able to maintain school as well as his career. Young Mack moved from Columbia, MO, and has started new ventures in Fort Worth Texas. Young Mac is currently an independent artist, Mac completed his first album with his former label Rosewood Records. He writes his own lyrics, and he sings his backgrounds and raps his chorus. Young Mac is currently working on his second album. Young Mac is inspired by Tupac, TI, and, L.L. Cool J. In Young Mac’s spare time he constantly works on his music, and maintaining his school work. He recently graduated Dunbar High School where he graduated early this year, with motivation to move forward in his career. Young Mac has performed at the 2500 club, club chill, Teen world, and Top Cats, located in Fort Worth, TX, Club Rush, and Club 424 in Arlington, TX. He has performed in Tom Cats, Nairobi’s, and club Hush in Dallas, TX. He has performed in some contest in Columbia, MO and at the park events. He is the oldest of three. He has a brother 15 and a sister who is 8. His Mother, Kimberly Mahaney and Step Father, Warren Mahaney is sole supporters of Young Mac and his goals and career. His major goal is to make it in the Music Industry, and bring a positive change to his life and the lives of others.
