"They play raw and loose, with complex songs built around fire and ice dynamics of restrained verses, exploding choruses and linear bridges between the verses of their songs that give them life from start to finish." Lance Scott Walker, 002 Houston, October 2006
"Meanwhile, look for either Scattered Pages or the precocious kids in the Dimes to break nationally with Pitchfork Nation next year." John Nova Lomax, Houston Press, December 2006 (link)
"The Dimes - those clean-cut just fresh out of high school kids that you’ve ignored all this time! Yeah, those guys? Well, while you were fucking around this summer, they went and made a fucking great album. I don’t mean great for a local band, I mean a great fucking album that is great without apology." Ramon Medina, Linus Pauling Quartet Blog, August 2006
"Some people might find it difficult to take a high school aged band seriously, but hose who catch just a minute or two of The Dimes' energetic live performances become instand fans. The band's infectious and poppy, guitar-based songs are uniquely their own." David Cobb, Envy Magazine Houston, August 2006

That's hilarious that through that picture you (whoever left that comment, or maybe it was all of you) deduced that i tap dance. I do actually tap dance, and i teach tap to a group of 12-14 year olds that i love. I dance a bunch of other random things, flamenco salsa hip hop blah blah blah, i'm just an all around dance machine. I can't wait to see these nxt 3 shows btw, and I'm sad to hear Iram is leaving! Everything is for the best i'm sure! Anyway, if you (any of you) catch me at your next show please say hi! I don't think we've officially met yet!
