Hip-Hop is an artform of music. When it first started, it was never about blingage, sex, money, drugs, and booty. It was about songs that made you bob your head while MC's talk about the love of the music and lyrical skills. It was a time when MC battles were around industry MC's and people not gettin' shot over what they say. Hip-Hop was a sport back then.
