NoTiQ; whose moniker stands for Nothin’ Other Than iLl Quotes, is a young Hip-Hop artist who fuses literature and music together with melodies to excite the masses
Born in Albany, Ga in 1986, NoTiQ first became active in hip-hop during a karaoke contest in 2004, his freshman year in college. The feeling of performing in front of people was undeniable, so he quickly began to find different ways to record as well as studying the craft in which he was beginning to become active.
As time past NoTiQ released a couple of mixtapes (“Tha Intro” and “The Audacity of Hip-Hop”) to help secure a buzz around the areas of Marietta, Atlanta, and Macon, Georgia. He also began performing in local talent shows and showcases around Atlanta including “Showcase of the South” with Tay’lord Entertainment. His infectious music molded from his own experiences as well as those around the world has been said to “apply relevant ideas and concepts and isn’t on that nonsense that everybody else on right now”. With his ideas being so relevant, he has also tapped into a heavy internet buzz via his music as well as his online show “Lust for the Limelight”
NoTiQ plans on pushing his music to the masses, while continuing to genuinely express his true thoughts, emotions and beliefs over dope beats.
