Young is a state of mind and a rebirth of veteran rocker Chris Sullivan whose career as a singer songwriter is anything but young.
More than 8 years after founding Big Black Building, Sullivan follows his passion to unleash his dynamic creative style as a solo performer.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Sullivan grew up in Charleston South Carolina where he began playing music.
The musical influences of Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, and Ryan Adams solidify Sullivan's blue collar no nonsense approach to delivering music unadulterated by trend and loyal to heart while expressing the introspective aspects of his life that otherwise would remain untold.
Writing music allows me to relate thoughts and experiences that I want to share with others explains Sullivan who plans to release a new record later this year.
But the true reward, according to Sullivan is performing it live.
I am grateful for the opportunity to go out night after night doing what I love to do, while getting to meet so many amazing people.

What's going on good buddy? Haven't talked to you in quite some time, so I figured I would drop by and see how things were with you. WE REALLY NEED TO GET SOME KIND OF local or even regional ACOUSTIC (singer/songwriter) tour lined up. Maybe around here in town, Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Columbia? Wherever. We can totally do it bro. Get back at me and let me know if you're interested, and if so, I'll have one of my friends start working on some possible bookings, etc.
