Spending too much time deciding if it'd be best to use parse(), iter(), or a @dolist.

Down by the Riverside motel
It's seven below and falling,
By a ninety-nine cent store
She closed her eyes and started swaying.
But it's so hard to dance that way
When it's cold and there's no music playing.
And your old hometown's so far away
But inside your head there's a record playing,
That's the bit that'll actually be updated, has a longer list of what bad music and late-night shows have caught my ears and eyes, what marvels of modern life I've just been utterly confused by, what trivial details I've put too much importance on. You know, the important things.
For those who prefer FaceBookery, try here (although it's kind've useless if you don't have a FaceBook account. That, and things aren't very different from here -- just more clique-centric "office party"-esque).
Since this music thing is so popular with the kids (but having a video load EVERY SINGLE TIME you dial up a page gets a bit annoying), here's a few...
Not sure who Tom Waits is? Here's a nice description, "His music is like a noisy bumpy box car ride with an irate bum who won't stop hitting you with with metal objects and screaming and cursing at you not to make the same mistakes he made in life."
Not sure about They Might Be Giants? Well, Ben Sisario (of the New York Times) had this to say, "A few things you can count on at a They Might Be Giants show: There will be accordion. There will be two guys with nasal voices singing songs that are almost too silly even for children. There will be gimmick songs about geography. And everyone there will know all the words."
There, happy now? I had a mostly orchestral David Byrne song playing, and since that went away (Blast!) it switched to a little Gilbert and Sullivan ditty for the kids (Assuming "the kids" were born about 150 years ago). And now it's Camper Van Beethoven (I just give up trying to find one that'll last).. but! ..if you scope out your "Settings/Control Panel/Whatever it's called" thing? You can set it so that music does not start up unless you want it to. That, or try the "Show Flash Animation Only On Demand" Extention for FireFox browsers.
Oh, and Scary-Go-Round is worth reading. Really.
And a very charming video-making person is Katers17 over on YouTube.
There once was a lady from Bude
Who went swimming one day in the lake.
A man in a punt
Stuck his pole in the water
And said "You can't swim here; it's private."
Who I'd like to meet: Only a Mr.Bungle would write it that way. Whom I'd like to meet:
Much better, no? That's the Johnny Rightway way to write it!
I ran into her at Mardens a few months back.(Anitra that is)at the time she was still in bangor area but had just gotten a good job in Ellsworth. She stated that Amy is still in veremont. Thats all I know. Wish I could help more!
haha, I was driving by there (red martini) earlier after I asked what it was and was laughing for asking about it. I thought "oh, Wils gunna think I'm dumb" but I really didn't know about it.
Hey I saw Paul at the sea dog the other night. Are you going to the festival thing? This is the first time I've been here for it. Usually I'm home when the fair is here
I have several photos of you and Malcolm X. You might be interested to know I just found them...you are wearing that sensational hat, the one with the feather and he is probably purring or something. So If you want copies, hit me up with a preferable way to get them to you.
Well, we are arriving to her mom's tomorrow evening, so I'm guessing that it will be Sunday or Monday night? Don't hold me to that though! We wil be in touch.
