|
Your Demise are a four piece punk rock band hailing from Hobart, Tasmania. They blend a mix of influences including Bad Religion, Strike Anywhere, The Lawrence Arms, The Nation Blue, Propagandhi, 88 Fingers Louie, Bear Vs Shark, Refused, NOFX & Hot Water Music into their own fast paced melodic aggressive punk. Officially finding their footings in late 2005 Your Demise have been busy playing live shows around the state with great friends and influences such as Ballpoint, The Scandal, Stand Defiant, The Turnaround, The Ghost & The Storm Outside, Mindset, Victory Avenue & more. Your Demise have also supported national acts such as Stolen Youth (Adelaide), Yidcore (Melbourne), Lungs (Sydney), Between The Devil & The Deep (Syd), Bodyjar (Melb), The Restless Words (WA) as well as international acts Against Me! (US), Crime In Stereo (US), NOFX (US), Strike Anywhere (US) and Superman Is Dead (Indo). Your Demise have recently recorded their debut EP, recorded with Nic White from The Scandal, which will be released on Disconnect Records, Mid 2008.
