Dude! We gotta make bootlegs anyway to pass out at shows. Just grab a bunch o'them! We can pool for the cost, I can print the labels up, and we can assemble 'em ourselves; it's actually pretty cheap if 4 or 5 people are chipping in; we can get 10 jewel boxes (the good kind) for about 5 bucks, and the labels are just printer paper. The CDs are like 15-20 bucks for 50; so to do 50 good copies we only need 1 CD box (15-20 bucks) and 50 Jewel boxes (about 25 bucks), which is a whopping total of 40-45 bucks per 50 CDs --- after tax, that's about a dollar a CD. If everybody chips in, say, ten bucks, we can make fifty no problem. Twenty a pop can make a hundred; no record label will produce and distribute your shit for that low of a cost.
