Your Favorite Ex is a brand spanking new sound oozing out from the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. Formed and shaped officially in 2008 by dint of a MySpace message and chance meeting, the band has just freshly established itself as a five-piece.
Your Favorite Ex brings a whole new style to the stage with its provocative lyrics, all-around “badass” beats, and catchy hooks that you can't help but want to dance to. Having the perfect melodic blend amid a sound range shell of rock and pop, YFX has been called the recipe of an "intense version of Panic! At The Disco mixed with a dash of Fall Out Boy, and topped off with the secret musical sauce of Mayday Parade."
Already on the rise both locally and nationally, YFX has just completed recording their highly-anticipated debut EP entitled "Seven Days 'til Spring" which will be available in-stores and online this fall. A taste of some of the songs featured on Seven Days 'til Spring have been formerly released online, with new songs constantly being released each week.
