Doing disaster response logistics for the American Red Cross, travel-travel-travel, sitting on the houseboat during sunset, snowboarding in Colorado, singing with the band at our favorite bar(The Red Lion) in Vail, going to M.O.I., meeting new people, trips without any planning, cooking for someone else, drinking red wine, listening to the rain, getting all wrapped up in a down comforter, the smell of horses, making people laugh, wearing sunglasses, $3 dollar menu nights at Jerry Allen's, cheese, seafood, baba ghannouj, rubber boots, my beach cruiser, the sound of the ocean, holding hands, old jeans, white t-shirts, wearing my collar up (it keeps my neck from turning red...), telling stories, the smell of fire, having all my family together for holidays, getting to know someone new, the first kiss, myspacing-of course, chicken salad from Robert's Grocery, my friends, praying, dreaming, anything outdoors, cliff jumping (a recent obsession), picnics, the inevitable outfits of Robb and Sir Isaac, weddings (everyone else's), summertime, the Greek Isles, and making eye contact...

My DAD ! THE MOST AMAZING PERSON EVER !!! He left an impression on everyone.... He never met a stranger. I can still remember when I was a little guy, riding around the house on his Harley before he would go to work
About me: The road less traveled makes for the greatest journey...
Adventure... I need it, I crave it. I like to take trips without planning anything. Just get there and go with the flow. I think it's better to leave things up to chance and circumstance.... also know as FATE. You never know what lies ahead if you don't move forward. You know be spontaneous !!!!!!! I'm ready to go somewhere and tell some stories, make some new ones, or just make some up.
I'm a very random/spontaneous soul ! I grew up in the foothills of NC, where my family raised quarter horses. I've lived on a motoryacht in South Beach, Miami... I've spent a winter in Vail, Co. I've lived in a solar powered house in the jungle on the North Shore of Maui. I have enjoyed the simple life of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama, as well as the ancient history and ruins of Greece and it's isles. I love how different life is everywhere you go, and have a great appreciation for how others live. There is still so much to experience and see, so the journey continues... I BELIEVE that it only takes one act of KINDNESS to make the world a BETTER place. I believe that REALITY is merely perception at an exact moment in time, it is different for everyone and it changes constantly. I feel that we need to define our own REALITY instead of accepting what society has deemed appropriate. Here is the project that I..ve been working on with friends from around the world...
A Part of the Solution…
Global Humanitarian Adventures’ goal is to positively impact the world and its peoples by engaging today’s young adults in international service work.
We’ll accomplish this goal by recruiting enthusiastic volunteers from colleges and universities across the country and partnering with on-going international relief efforts to serve the needs of those less fortunate.
Our efforts will accomplish the two-part goal of providing relief and assistance to those in need around the world, while training, motivating and empowering a new generation of globally-conscious, humanitarian Americans.
What differentiates G.H.A. from other relief organizations is our focus on student involvement -- and the ability to match those students with a variety of relief and service opportunities that are not confined to a specific cause. G.H.A. will attract students to service by making the service attractive, and by providing a true Global Humanitarian Adventure.
The partnership between our volunteers, donors, and established relief organizations will help G.H.A. bridge the gap between those who wish to serve and those in need of assistance.
Join with Global Humanitarian Adventures today and become a part of the solution!
