Your Hero is a Villain, a Progressive/Hardcore band from Kerman, California. Originally named Another Shade of Black in 2008, a Post-Hardcore/Metal-core band, they went on an indefinite hiatus to return in mid-Sept 2009 with a whole idea on their music, but shortly after the return from their break Nov. 2009 their Frontman Zachary Montoya passed away from a heart attack causing a delay in their work. All though their music is different from their old ASOB ways they carried one song from their set in memory of Zack this song is called "Not Another Hometown Hero". Now with a lot of motivation for the band YHIAV has worked hard to write, record, and play various shows through out the central Valley soon to conquer the rest of CA to get their name out. They are entering the Studio Apirl 2010 to record with Frankie Velasco at Scenix Sciences Studios, their self-Titled EP should be soon to release in the summer of 2010.
