Books
Oh, books, what a subject, eh? A good analogy for my dealings with them would be the song "Big Pimpin" by rap artist, Jay-Z. I'm not so much interested in building a relationship with stories an characters the majority of the time. They just hold my intrigue long enough for me to get whatever information I want out of them or get caught up by the next subject leaving them cast by the wayside cold, alone, dejected and occasionally revisited.
I generally just read the ones that are dedicated to dishing out plates of knowledge and sparknote the rest. Just enough to make and understand cultural references.
Books by John Green, Norton Juster, Lynne Truss, and College Humor are astonishingly pimp though.
I don't even know who they are. But they obviously know what's going on.
-ME-
But who am I? I'm glad you asked.
I hate using other people's words to describe myself but, Ufc fighter Anderson Silva once said "That guy, he's a maniac, he can't be stopped. He's like the friggin Rock of Gibraltar or something... on wheels! He's smarter, faster, and just plain more skilled than anyone I've ever gone up against."
He said that while out of breath and possibly tearing up to one of his friends after I literally handed him both of his own buttcheeks during tennis match. That's just the kind of guy I am, I guess.
I enjoy using the word "literally" in the midst of situations that can only be figurative.
I'm an introvert who loves people. I love being around people, talking listening to people, interacting with people, and if you're a person, I probably love you too.
Not much of a talker.
But I am a performer. Compulsively.
I try to only say things worth listening to.
I'm an art lover, of all kinds visual, performing, literary, culinary, whatever.
I'd say I love being creative, but it's an automatic (possibly necessary) function like dreaming, eating, or yawning. But I guess I enjoy those too.
Improvisation is probably my absolute favorite pastime.
I don't like to cook.
There is comedy in every situation, I aim to find it.
I think solitude is horribly underrated
I've found more reasons to look forward to global warming than I've found to try and stop it.
I think people spend way too much time worrying about insignificant things and ignoring everything else.
I'm inexplicably drawn to new experiences, information, and people.
...which is why I play seven instruments and haven't mastered any of them.
I have multiple games that I've created and constantly play in my own head like "Find the 23", "Guess Their Favorite Color", and "Find the Pattern".
I'm on a mission to raise world-wide awareness of my own existence.
I spend my life trying to be The Pig of Happiness.
I'm always trying to improve myself
I love Jesus more than cake and, let me tell you, I LOVE my cake.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, my name's Marlon. I want to be remembered for a thousand years after I'm dead.
Who I'd like to meet: A good conversation with a nice face.
or
Frikkin...Benito Mussolini so I can play him in chess while covertly, little-by-little, lacing his drink with hallucinogens.
Don't make fun of my dreams.

Hey 12 Angry Marlons, How are you? I just directed my first music video. Let me know what you think! I also built my boyfriends website EmrysHanley.com Check it out!
just checking, gotta make sure people know of this site. also, my friend got me one of those Jack In The Box VIP cards... I feel the need to go to Jack In The Box as many times as I can before the end of the year now...
haha idk but i've only heard of them being $67. Most of my friends are going and from the get-go that's how much they said they were. My guess is if there were $40 ones, they sold out quickly ...
hahahaha so random! tell him you know that random girl that tweeted him about EDC. I just looked up people talking about it and he posted something funny. When I went to his page to @reply him, it said he was from Palmdale. My mind was blown.
