your orange coat, ( a poem)
its raining,
i look out at the view,
boats going by,
umbrellas disguising people,
i try to make you out,
its been two months since i last saw you,
then from nowhere you seem to appear,
with your familar smile,
we talk pointlessly for a while,
we share a bottle of cider,
you half eat a sandwich,
then look at your watch,
make your excuses to go,
a kiss on the cheek,
a hug,
i watch you leave,
walk over the bridge,
your orange coat fades into the distance,
like the sun going down .
