About me:
I am YOUR ROCK SLUT 4EVER!
Don't think poorly of me... I'm not a groupie, just a slut for the rock!
As a music journalist in Dallas, TX since 1989, I covered local/national/international acts for over a decade. I've been published in the Plano Star-Courier, the Dallas Observer, Buddy Magazine, and then my own 'zine, Buzzmonger. After taking some time off to pursue personal musical endeavors with The Necro Tonz, I found I actually miss writing about bands... nevermind all you scenesters who begged me to do Buzzmonger again! So with the near-death of the Deep Ellum/Dallas music scene, I find it's time for me to resume my duties as "Your Rock Slut 4ever" and shoot some life into the scene.
As an employee of Metro ANE Magazine, I have the publishing outlet (and this time I get paid instead of having to pay!). All I need is the news, the tunes, gig dates and the +1's (oh, and drink tickets).
I said it when I started Buzzmonger, and I'll say it again...
"Get off your dead asses and ROCK!"
So send me stuff. Don't think posting a bulletin is gonna catch my attention, either. I want the facts to be sent to me at this myspace. Contact phone numbers would be nice, too.
