Actually, I'm both - kind of a Jekyll & Hyde personality, I guess - so if that frequently quoted phrase is true, I've got a ticket wherever I wanna go. ;-) Not bad.

I'm a colorful, fun-loving & open-minded rock chick, who loves to laugh, listen to punk and rock music, travel, and make friends anywhere in the world. I also love (these in no particular order) tattoos, rainy summer days, coffee & cigarettes, horseback riding, yoga, anarchism, and getting lost in foreign cities. The latter I somehow manage to accomplish in my hometown on a weekly basis, so not much effort is required to do the same somewhere unfamiliar. :P Plus, every time I wonder off somewhere I don't know, I find the most intriguing places.

This past October I finished my MA Thesis and received my Master of Arts degree from the University of Vaasa. I currently work as a translator, which is a lot of fun and doesn't feel like work most of the time, but I've always got a multitude new and exciting things planned for the future, so I'll never know where the ride will take me. I kind of like it like that, because I'm much too restless to stay put for too long. Oh, and for those interested, my MA Thesis topic was somewhat different from the norm. I discussed the misrepresentations of the Riot Grrrl movement, i.e. the sweet union of feminism and punk rock.

Since the days when I heard the first Hanoi Rocks songs on the radio, I've loved 80's or 80's flavored rock: glam, sleaze, hair metal, or whatever you wanna call it. Also, I try to reserve as much time for partying and having as much fun as I can while I'm still sorta young. ;-)
