YouthAlive has grown over the past seven years into Western Australia's premier gospel rock act, regularly playing to thousands of fans in Perth's largest concert venues.
After a number of changes to the line-up, the current group has been playing together since 2000 and has recently released their third CD.
YouthAlive has a huge underground following in WA. In August this year, more than 9000 young people are expected to turn up to Challenge Stadium for a YouthAlive concert ADRENALIN.
YouthAlive is also gaining exposure throughout Asia and is touring Malaysia and Singapore this year. The band is also touring the UK and USA late in the year.
The band has headlined shows alongside bands such as Antiskeptic, Guy Sebastian, T-Bone, Soulframe, Rookie & Fido. In August this year, they will play alongside SWITCHFOOT & PILLAR.
Two songs from the latest CD "All of the Above" were nominated for Song of the Year in the prestigious WAMi awards. YouthAlive's Chad Blondel won the award in the gospel category in 2004 for his rock track Take Over. The song has since been played on radio stations around Australia, Europe and the USA.
