Who I'd like to meet:
Youth who think out loud creatively and critically and are ready to rule their world!

TAKE ACTION!
Here are three things you can do to address global and social issues, and create change.

1) Stay informed. Know what's going on in the world. Read the newspaper, watch the news, surf the web.

2) Speak up! Talk about these issues. Blog, write a letter to the editor, contact your MP.

3) Awareness and fundraising. Support organizations doing great work (like YouthCARE). Be creative and have fun doing it!

Dignitas International: Race for Dignity

Dignitas International: Race for Dignity

May 7 2007 4:04 PM

Thanks for adding Dignitas International as a friend!

Dignitas International is a Canadian medical humanitarian organization that works with communities to dramatically increase access to life-saving treatment and prevention in areas overwhelmed by HIV/AIDS.

Founded by a group of international health and research experts, Dignitas is led by Dr. James Orbinski, who accepted the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize as International President of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF/Doctors Without Borders). Dignitas is saving lives in Zomba District, Malawi, with a groundbreaking, sustainable community-based HIV/AIDS treatment delivery and prevention model to be replicated throughout the developing world.

We have an exciting fundraising event happening on June 23, 2007 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We will be holding the Race for Dignity Challenge - a 24-hour fundraising spinathon on stationary bikes for people affected by AIDS in Africa.

The Race for Dignity is an opportunity to promote community awareness and positive involvement in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa. You can support us by either becoming part of the event or donating online.

Be part of the Race for Dignity Challenge. Be part of the AIDS solution.

Welcome to my BOUNCIN PAD!!!
