On Feb. 1st, the youth board at Youth Speaks, SPOKES, would like to invite any and all youth to join them in a reception from 5:30-6:30pm at the Heller Lounge at UC Berkeley featuring Youth Speaks poets, Cal reps, and dozens of bay area youth activists/organizations! We'll have a live DJ and free food too! The reception will act as the gateway for a concert that is taking place at 7pm. The concert will feature some of the finest socially conscious spoken word and hip-hop artists in the nation, as well as student artists and a panel on the history of activism at Cal featuring leaders from students' movements from the 1960s through today.
