YOUTH OF THE 1ST NATION's Interests
General
The purpose of the Youth of The First nation is to teach the youth the essential life skills and to stress how to use this knowledge in school, college, and throughout their lives. The youth will experience hands on demonstration of various sports and cultural activities during the youth conference.
Nahata Dziil Chapter Youth have organized into a youth group. The function of the group is to advocate for the youth in the community. Whether it’s about issues that the youth should be involved in or to help a cause, the Youth of the First Nation is willing to step up. We are inviting young Navajo teens to come out and raise their voices.
The need for an organized youth for our nation has always been around; we just want to get things rolling. In this day and age, the only way to get things done right is to take action. We feel that it’s been too long that we’ve let things pass. Maybe we can make a big difference if we added our ideas. It never hurts.
The main purposes may be to simply get heard. There are issues that directly affect us, and we can’t, or don’t even do anything about it. We want to at least put our side of the story into it.
If we are going to be responsible and knowledgeable adults, why can’t we start now? Anyone one could go one about how the Navajo Nation is the largest tribal reservation, by population and size of reservation, but that is not the only way that we want to be seen. With our proactive mentality, we want to prepare ourselves for the future.

This slide show is about about the youth day that we had last summer as well. In the basketball tournament we all wanted to win, but in the end "The Storms" won. We also had a Mud Tug-A-War, and you can see what happened.
Thanks for adding me as a friend. I would like to invite everyone from the Navajo Nation in the Sanders area to an awesome concert we will be doing on July 7th. We will have free food and some fun stuff going on. The concert begins at 6:00. We are a group from Texas that will be in town for a week. Hope to meet lots of new friends.
hey everyone... just wanted to let you all kno that i was on my spring break.. that is its thursday and i'll telling you all this. i'll be at the chapter house, so you can come by and see me.. yeah and i'll be posting things online so you guys should be looking out for that..
